first_imgShare Facebook Twitter Google + LinkedIn Pinterest I am a fifth generation farmer with Windy Way farms near Massilon. I work full time on the farm with my dad and grandfather. We are a grain and beef operation. It is a half rural half metropolitan area. We feed beef cattle and raise corn, soybeans, wheat, and hay. When I got out of high school we wanted to expand the diversity and we had two bank barns and retrofitted them to make them suitable for feeding more cattle. Last year we built new monoslope barns to feed Holstein cattle and some colored cattle. We enjoy feeding cattle and we think we have a sustainable market for them. We raise our own crops and bedding and mix our own feed so we can be self-sufficient. It is easier to build a barn and feed cattle than it is to pick up farm ground. With as many cows as we are feeding, we are planting more corn to feed them. We feed around 50,000 bushels of our own corn a year. We grow a lot of wheat for bedding that we need. We fall seed hay after wheat too.We sell soybeans as a cash crop. We have four semis that run up north to the processors and we haul commodities for a couple local feed mills and dairy farms. We have our hands in a little bit of everything. In this day and age you have to either have an off farm job or you have to be diversified. We have some sand and gravel bottom ground that we no-till but a lot of our heavier soils we are more conventional till. We have a lot of manure to deal with and we still have the chisel plow to incorporate that.last_img read more

Ohio State field hockey falls to No 7 Massachusetts and No 6

OSU lost, 3-0.Credit: Courtesy of FacebookThe Ohio State field hockey team struggled as it finished a road trip to Syracuse, N.Y., with an 0-2 record. The Buckeyes fell short to No. 7 Massachusetts Saturday and then again Sunday to No. 6 Syracuse. Both games ended with a score of 1-0. Although the team came out on the losing end in both games, OSU coach Anne Wilkinson said it was not due to their efforts.“We played great field hockey overall,” Wilkinson said. “We just couldn’t put the ball in the net.”Both games were scoreless in the first half, but the Buckeyes gave up a single second half goal in each, falling to 2-4 on the year.During Sunday’s match, junior goalkeeper Sarah Lemieux had eight saves against Syracuse. After back-to-back saves by Lemieux, Syracuse was able to score on a penalty corner with just over four minutes to go in the game.Wilkinson said she was impressed with her goalkeeper, but wishes the team could have taken advantage of the defense it played.“I think we had great defense,” Wilkinson said. “Sarah (Lemieux) had a lot of great saves during crucial times.”Lemieux said the defense as whole played well, despite the losses.“I thought we played solid defense the whole weekend. We made huge efforts to tackle to ball and stop them from scoring.”In Saturday’s match UMass outshot the Buckeyes 10-8. OSU had more opportunities with the penalty corners, 6-5, but could not capitalize on them to finish the game. The match against Syracuse was much more one-sided, despite the Orange failing to open the scoring until the 66th minute. The home side out shot the Buckeyes 20-6, including 9 shots on goal.Sophomore midfield Emma Royce provided the best chance in the first half for the Buckeyes but was denied by the Syracuse sophomore goalkeeper Jess Jecko.OSU is set to take on Miami(Ohio) Wednesday in Oxford at 5:30 p.m. read more

We have a basic agreement with Flamengo, but transfer market reopens in January: so we still have a little way to go before the deal becomes official,” he said about Brazilian Paqueta according to Calcio Mercato.“Now we have to think only of the Serie A and the Europa League, not the market. What kind of player is he? At the moment, he is a Flamengo player: he still has to play some Brazilian league matches. We have to wait for January 3rd.”Cristiano Ronaldo, JuventusSerie A Betting: Match-day 3 Stuart Heath – September 14, 2019 Considering there is a number of perfect starts so early in the Serie A season, as well as a few surprisingly not-so perfect ones….As per the rumors putting Zlatan Ibrahimovic in AC Milan, he said:“It’s normal that there is also connection not only professional but even personal with him. Luis Enrique We improved with our substitutes

first_imgSpain national team boss Luis Enrique claims Spain improved with their substitutes in their Nations League group. However, he adds that  ‘bad luck and some mistakes’ destroyed their chances of securing a place in the Final Four.“We started the match well, quickly posing danger out wide and through the middle,” said the Coach via Football Espana after La Roja’s 1-0 win against Bosnia-Herzegovina on Sunday.“The team then got into a complicated dynamic, Bosnia moved a bit further afield, but at no point did I see us in danger of losing the game.”“In the second half, we improved with our substitutes and we tried to knock down the wall put up by our opponents.”“It’s always difficult against a team who sit back. Brais was very good. Not everyone scores on their debut.”“He and Fornals did very well. It’s very nice for a Coach to see that there’s a bright future. I saw the centre-backs in a very good way, so that’s more great news.”“The players who came in played like they did for their respective teams. They played great against one of Europe’s best strikers in Dzeko. I’m happy with them.”Gerard Pique, Neymar, BarcelonaLa Liga Betting: Match-day 4 Stuart Heath – September 14, 2019 Despite it being very early into La Liga season, both Barcelona and Real Madrid have had unprecedented starts to their campaigns. It was for the player with the most caps and I think Isco has been pushing the cart for many years, also for his club.”“He has talent and potential. He’s been an important player and he has a praiseworthy attitude.”“I can draw positives from looking at the group we were in, which was one of the most difficult.”“We all expected to go through after our first two games, but that’s football. I didn’t expect my team to be here after six games, but I’m happy with their attitude.”“I wish Croatia and England had drawn, but now I’m focused on qualifying for the Euros and I think the national team look good.”“England-Croatia was very well-contested.
